If you wish to enjoy some of the best wines and estates in Burgundy, this tour takes you through the “Champs Elysées” of the Burgundy region. From Gevrey Chambertin to Chassagne Montrachet, follow the Grand Cru Trail and visit some of the most beautiful and famous wine villages, estates and monuments such as the Clos de Vougeot, which retraces 900 years of winemaking.
Explore: the famous grand cru villages including a walking tour of the famous village of Vosne-Romanée with a walk through its famous vineyards – Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Richebourg etc. After lunch head to the vineyards which made the reputation of Burgundy whites, home of the legendary grand cru Montrachet.
Taste: A minimum of 15 wines of which 5 are Grand Crus from our selection of top estates. Most of these wines are mature and have reached their perfect drinking window.
Visit: The Clos de Vougeot castle, a grand cru vineyard and chateau dating back to the 11th century.
Lunch: You will be able to sample the wines & food from a famous winery lunch venue
