- ABOUT THE ESTATE
This 5-hectares (12 acre) estate was taken over by Morgan & Julie Truchetet (6th generation) in 2019. Here we have a young, gifted brother & sister who are already steadily making a reputation for themselves. Their wines are refined, elegant and well-structured. Their vineyards are covered with grass to stimulate the soil’s biology and they use horses to plough to protect their centenary vineyards. They are currently transforming all their wines to organic certification.

- TASTING NOTES
TASTING NOTES: A very expressive pinot with dominant notes of red and black fruits and flowers. Medium bodied palate with a surprisingly rich and rounded finish. A splendid wine bursting with fruit and charm.
FOOD & WINE PAIRING: Les Clusers will go with rather delicate dishes that are to some degree aromatic – vegetable salads, meat or poultry tarts, or simmered beef and vegetables (pot-au-feu). Moreover, their delicacy makes them a perfect choice for those who like red wine with fish. Their natural elegance predisposes them towards veal, cold tabbouleh, or hard cheeses like Gouda
- TIPS
AGEING POTENTIAL: 6 to 8 years
SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 14/15°
As this is a young wine, I would suggest opening 1 hour before serving or pouring into a carafe (if you do not have much time) to let the aromas open.
