This family estate was founded in 1887 and is run by Claire and Philippe, the 5th generation. They farm a modest 8 hectares (20 acres) of vineyards in and around the famous town of Nuits Saint Georges and continue to perpetrate a traditional family wine growing philosophy. Vineyard work is all carried out by hand, in the spirit of minimal intervention (there is no use of pesticides). The terroir of each vineyard plot is therefore respected producing classical but beautifully crafted Burgundy wines.

- TASTING NOTES
TASTING NOTES: A dark-ruby coloured pinot with dominant notes of raspberry and hints of cherry, liquorice, and candied violet flowers. Light to medium bodied palate with a smooth and rounded finish. A very approachable and supple wine.
FOOD & WINE PAIRING: This wine will go with rather delicate dishes that are to some degree aromatic – vegetable salads, meat or poultry tarts, or simmered beef and vegetables (pot-au-feu). Moreover, their delicacy makes them a perfect choice for those who like red wine with fish. Their natural elegance predisposes them towards veal, cold tabbouleh, or hard cheeses like Gouda.
